Dr. Judith Leiba is an accomplished and highly experienced medical professional, specializing in both Pediatrics and Psychiatry. With an M.B.B.S. and D.M. in Pediatrics and Psychiatry, as well as a Clinical Fellowship in Child & Youth Psychiatry from U.W.I., she boasts a unique and comprehensive skill set in addressing the mental health needs of children, adolescents, and adults.

Currently serving as the Director of Child & Adolescent Mental Health at the Ministry of Health & Wellness, Dr. Leiba brings over two decades of invaluable expertise garnered from her work in various Child Guidance Clinics across Jamaica. As a respected Pediatrician and Consultant Child, Adolescent & Adult Psychiatrist, she has been at the forefront of providing exceptional mental health care to diverse populations.

In her role as an Associate Lecturer at the University of the West Indies, Dr. Leiba continues to contribute to the academic and professional growth of future medical practitioners. Moreover, her leadership has been instrumental in developing essential protocols like "Guidelines for Diagnosis and Management of Common Mental Disorders in Children & Adolescents." Notably, she has played a pivotal role as the point person from the Ministry of Health & Wellness in the successful implementation of the School Mental Health Literacy Curriculum in high schools, fostering better mental health awareness and support within educational institutions. Dr. Judith Leiba's unwavering commitment to enhancing mental health services and advocating for mental health literacy underscores her indispensable contributions to the field.
