Dr. Whitehorne-Smith has recently completed doctoral degree in Public Health at Curtin University in Western Australia where she was a recipient of the prestigious Australian Government Research Training Program Stipend Award.

Dr. Patrice Whitehorne-Smith holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of the West Indies. She has over eighteen years of experience working in substance abuse treatment and research within a national and international context. She has worked closely with Richmond Fellowship Jamaica over the years on several initiatives and understands well the mission, vision and values of the organisation.
